The USAID has awarded Triangle Environmental Health Initiative LLC a Definitive Contract worth a value of $2,874,682 USD for the Solid Waste Accountability Platform (SWAP) project. The project is designed to improve solid waste service provision in urban Cambodia. Triangle Environmental Health Initiative LLC is a limited liability company specializing in global health, environmental and social services. USAID is the main provider of US foreign aid and development assistance, working to end extreme poverty and promote resilient, democratic societies.

The project will be implemented in Cambodia, a nation in Southeast Asia. Cambodia is bordered by Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam. The project aims to improve solid waste service provision in urban Cambodia through the implementation of the Solid Waste Accountability Platform (SWAP). SWAP is an online platform designed to provide information about waste services, track waste management performance, and enable transparent decision making. This subcontract is meant to provide technical support and services for the Solid Waste Accountability Platform Project. The principal investigator will oversee all aspects of the project, including designing and implementing the impact evaluation, developing survey instruments, programming, supporting field management, and analyzing and reporting on baseline and endline data. The subcontractor will serve as the primary on-site contact during the most research-intensive and design-sensitive phases of the project.
