Feed the Future Cambodia (Harvest 2)

The Agency for International Development (USAID) has awarded ABT Associates Inc. a Definitive Contract worth $21,224,953 USD for the Feed the Future Cambodia Harvest II Activity. The project intends to increase sustainable economic opportunities within a market-based and inclusive horticulture value chain in Cambodia.

ABT Associates Inc. is a global consulting and operations research company that provides program management, research and evaluation, data collection, economic and statistical analysis, and strategic consulting services. They have expertise in health and nutrition, economic and social policy, applied technology, education and training, and international development.

USAID is an independent agency of the United States government that is primarily responsible for administering civilian foreign aid and development assistance. USAID works with governments, civil society organizations, the private sector, and other countries to provide assistance to countries around the world in the areas of health, food security, economic growth, education, democracy and governance, and humanitarian assistance.

The Feed the Future Cambodia Harvest II Activity will take place in Cambodia, a small, landlocked country in Southeast Asia. It is bordered by Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, and the Gulf of Thailand. Cambodia is a developing country with a population of over 16 million people, and its economy is largely reliant on agriculture. The country is rich in natural resources and is home to a diverse culture and vibrant history.

The Feed the Future Cambodia Harvest II Activity is an important project that will increase sustainable economic opportunities within a market-based and inclusive horticulture value chain in Cambodia. Through this project, USAID and ABT Associates Inc. will work together to provide assistance to Cambodian people in the areas of health, food security, economic growth, education, democracy and governance, and humanitarian assistance.
